Jumpsuit Kind of day

Every couple of months I go through obsessive phrases over things and buy them in every style or colour humanly possible (here and here) My jumpsuit and playsuit obsession is quite a healthy one up until I ended up owning 6 or 7 of them. Keep trying to justify the reasoning behind my purchases but I honestly cant think of any. You will see the rest of the items in the coming weeks on here but for now this is one of my favorites for all the right reasons.

This has to be one of my most favorite things among my summer wardrobe. The print, the fabric, the fit and the price was just right. The jumpsuit is from Matalan and it came with a very purse friendly price tag of just £16!!!!!!! I don't normally shop at Matalan but it's safe to say I have been converted.

Sandals - Primark
Bag - Primark

What I love most about this jumpsuit is that I can style it and  wear it all year long. We all know how much we love things that be worn in both cold and warm weather so that I can probably be my excuse behind buying this little gem.

Off Duty

Sorry for lack of posts. Work has pretty much kept me busy with no days off for the past 9 days! I took these pictures couple of days ago. If you follow me on Instagram here you would have already seen a sneak peak of this outfit.
When your stuck at work 5 days a week the last thing you wanna do is dress up on your day off. If you have been following my blog for some time then you already know my obsession with denim here here here here and here

It's a simple outfit but I threw in these Primark heels to make it look a bit dressy.
I was never a big fan of heels, but lately I have been drawn to them for some weird reason. As you know from my winter shoe post here I have quite wide size 7 feet for my size 6-8 body and I struggle so much when it comes to finding shoes that fit me well and are comfortable. Negative point my feet are wrecked but when your running around in heels 5 days a week up to 9-10 hours a day it can do wonders for your legs. My legs are probably the most toned part of my body. So I try to think of that every time I want to throw them away or cry in pain.

Jeans - H&M
Heels - Primark
Bag- Dorothy Perkins (old)

I'm a big fan of the double denim trend regardless of what people say. If you are one of those people who love denim but are afraid to do a double denim, this outfit is perfect. You can always play with different denim textures and colours which I absolutely love.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend.

Feeling Blue

I'm the sort of person who likes to blend in rather than stand out, but for the past couple of years I have been trying to change this to break out of the mold. Lately I have been surprising my self reaching for colours that I don't normally go for, putting together and clashing prints that I don't normally put together. Which I'm starting to really enjoy.

This dress is one of the things I love the most in my wardrobe. I'm not really a girly girl but I love the edginess in this dress. The cut is perfect and fits like a glove. The back cut out detailing is what adds that extra detailing to this dress. Oh! and the colour is just too perfect. Just can't fault this dress in any way.

I wanted to keep the outfit simple because this dress it self is quite a statement dress but chose these leopard print shoes because leopard print and cobalt blue is a match made in heaven.

Bought this clutch  from Primark couple of weeks ago and I have used it so many times already (including last post here)

Green with Envy.

I am absolutely loving the summer's ultimate printed trousers at the moment. Picked these trousers up because I fell in love with them the moment I lay my eyes on them. These trousers are a rare find for me because most of the time I struggle with finding trousers that fit me properly.

Instead of going for colored shirt I opted for this white shirt to draw more attention to the beautiful print on the trousers. The Brown heeled sandals are my most recent purchase and I have not let them off my feet lately.

Hope everyone is having a lovely week and I am quite pleased with my self for finding time to post twice this week.

Birds and the flowers and a little bit of sunshine

It's been too long since I last blogged but I can't seem to find the time and if and when I do, I just don't seem to have the energy. This can only get worse next month because I'm starting a new job!!!!! I'm so excited. I'm going to be training for the first two weeks of September and then I'm going to be traveling quite a lot so how I'm going to find the time to blog is beyond me.

Trying to catch up on lots of things this month before I start my new job. Spend as much time with the boys, find a nursery for my son, finish all the bits and bobs I started around the house that I never finish, catch up with my blogging and I'm still working because I don't leave my current job till the end of this month.

Moving on to the outfit, I have wanted this dress ever since I saw it in Zara in the beginning of spring, but it was £49.99 (i think) so I didn't really want to buy it then and when I was ready it was transferred off to a another store. So I never got around to buying it, until I saw it in the sale last month for only £17.99!!!

It's such a pretty dress. I have wanted to have a pretty cut out dress for ages but never found the right dress. I am a bit picky about what bits the cut outs going to be showing off. Since having my son, I have quite a few stretch marks on my tummy area, so I never found the right dress until this baby came around. I have a wedding next month so this dress will be perfect for that.

The print is so summery and the cut of this dress is so flattering. As you can see the cut out is very safe and doesn't show off too much flesh and the back of the dress is just a plain high neck back. It's so comfortable to wear. The only thing I am not too happy with is the length if the dress. It's a little bit too long, I'm 5 7' and as you can see even with the wedges it's touching the floor. I was actually hoping to wear this dress with a pair of flat sandals after the wedding, but unless I get it shortened I don't think that will be possible.

 Dress - Zara
Necklace -H&M
Shoes - Primark

I wanted to keep the styling of this dress very simple, plus with a dress this pretty you don't need to do much styling anyway.

What do you think about this dress?? Are a fan of the cut out dress trend??

Phase Eight Holiday Wardrobe Competition

Hi everyone! Hope all is well and everyone's enjoying the lovely hot weather.

Couple of days ago Phase Eight contacted me to let me know about a competition they are having for summer. Its very simple, all you have to do is style 5 holiday pieces from Phase Eight. Thats not all, if you enter the competition you are in the chance to win £250 to spend at Phase eight!!

To be honest it was quite difficult to pick just 5 pieces because there's so many pretty things. So after about a days browsing and then picking and non picking items I finally finalised my 5 picks. (phew!! it was hard work)

Now I know when you say Phase Eight quite a few people think of weddings because I think they are known for their wedding boutique. But they do some amazing casual collections and I love their dresses. So naturally my 5 picks mainly consist of dresses surprise! surprise!!!

My 5 Phase eight holiday pieces

Basic black maxi dress is a summer must have. I love the simplicity of this dress, the deep v-neck and the peep hole on the back give this simple dress a bit of a twist. This is one of those dresses that can be styled in so many different ways. Versatility is a massive buying factor for me and with this dress you will definitely be packing less clothes. If it's for holiday dinner I will wear this dress with a pair of gold jewelled sandals to go with the gold detachable belt and keep things very simple.

If I'm hitting the shops while on holiday or going out for a meal during the day, I'll throw on a denim cropped jacket, straw trilby and a little fringed bag to give it a bit of a bohemian twist. You can even turn this dress into a cocktail dress with a pair of heels, statement jewellery and a clutch. EASY!!

Another maxi dress! This time I have opted for this Orange waterfall hem dress. Nothing says summer holidays like this Orange and it is bound to put you in a good mood whatever the weather is (that is if you're stuck in the UK) Again a simple dress that can be styled in many ways. I will prolly keep it simple as the colour and the detailing of this dress is quite strong. Gold jewellery or gold shoes will make this colour pop even more.

Promise this is the last dress but I can't help that Phase Eight got some amazing dresses.  This striped shirt dress covers so many trends this summer. Monochrome trend - check, Stripes - check, shirt dress - check. How can you not add this dress to your holiday pick?? This can even be a cover up for the beach and you can unbutton couple of buttons to show some flesh (why not??)

Promised you that was the last dress. As difficult as it was to break away from all the lovely dresses I came across this pretty top. When picking my holiday essentials I always go for comfort, rather than sticking to fashion and trends especially with tops. So this top is great to break away from my simple vest top addiction. It's still simple but the colour and the metallic embellishment gives any simple look a dressed up feel.

You have to add a scarf to your holiday pick list. A scarf is my favourite accessory on holiday as I use it in different ways. This scarf caught my eye for the obvious reasons, I'm a sucker for cobalt blue. When its a bit chilly in the evenings I use it as pashmina to just drape around my shoulders or add a bit of colour to a plain top or dress or as a cover up when I'm heading to the beach.

So there we go! thats my 5 holiday pieces from Phase Eight. It's been tough cutting it down to just 5 pieces but I have done it:)

If you would like to enter this competition for the chance to win £250 to spend at Phase Eight then click here for more information on how to enter.

What are your favorite holiday pieces?? What do you think about this post??
